South Asian Mind Podcast

First episode - I talk about culturally competent therapy and provide you with some tips on how to gauge whether your therapist would be a good match for you or not before you commit to them. I also answer to questions raised by South Asian women about anger and guilt with family using a neuroscience and a gendered/social/cultural lens.

Second episode - I answer questions raised on how to address emotional challenges about “Being Yourself” independence as a South Asian woman.

Third episode - I share some foundations for you to use and reflect around your presenting needs (Self-care/Mental Illness/Mental Wellness). And this I hope will empower you to self-determine pathways of changes within the culture you identify with.

Final episode - Hear my Cultural PTSD orientation in my work with South Asian women. I also share some self-reflection tools to become aware of your unresolved trauma symptoms inherited through the legacy of intergenerational mental health in South Asians culture within the context of gender, colonisation, racism.
