As humans, it is a natural curiosity for us to want to relate and this often comes with this question to me, “Where do you come from?

A simple answer is, I was born in India, and spent 21 yrs absorbing the experiences as a child, teenager, and a young woman. With a family who believed in the active pursuit of academic intellect, I left India, to explore the Western world of thinking and living in USA and in Australia.

My West-East passion is to embed culture and relational recovery into western models of individual treatment for children and families in rural and remote areas around the world…and play a healing part towards restoring identity and dignity with Indigenous, Migrant and Refugee sons, daughters, fathers and mothers.

I earned my Clinical Masters degree in Family Therapy, and deepened my child/youth practice with Dyadic Attachment Psychotherapy training. I carry a systemic thinking and collaborative approach in counselling, supervision and in teaching engagement.

Breath-work sessions for self-regulation is a personal professional passion. The framework allows me to maintain my Indigenous roots - integrating Yoga Science framework of nervous system functioning (Pranayama-Yoga Science) with western trainings in neuroanatomy and neuroscience of emotions,
